You should know that it is mandatory, to obtain a weapons license, both type E and D (shotgun and rifle), to previously pass two tests; one theoretical and another, which consists of a practical exam.
THE THEORETICAL PROOF
It will focus on knowledge of weapons and the Weapons Regulations and will consist of taking a test of 20 questions, each of which presents three answers of which only one will be correct.
To pass it, it will be necessary to answer at least 16 questions correctly.
THE PRACTICAL TEST
It will be carried out in the same place as the theoretical exam, consisting of firing two shotgun shots at a target located 25 m away. The shotgun can be rented at the exam location (Madrid)

TELE LICENCIA puts at your disposal a weapons management and inspection service at home (Madrid only).
We remind you that the magazine will be passed every 5 years, and it is mandatory when renewing the Weapons Permit (Rifle and Shotgun).
For the parade, the presentation of weapons is inexcusable. If you wish, TELE LICENCIA will personally be responsible for inspecting your weapons, to do so:

The European Card serves as a guide for your firearms in the countries of the European Economic Community. This Card has a validity period of 5 years from the date of issuance

The Criminal Record Certificate has a validity period of 3 months from the date of issue.

Convicted persons who have extinguished their criminal and civil responsibility may request the cancellation of criminal records, following a report from the Judge or Sentencing court and once the deadlines set by the Law have been processed.
The Administration, on its own initiative, may also initiate the arrest procedures when it is aware that the requirements that it establishes are met.

In order to cancel the criminal record, it is necessary that the affected party has extinguished the criminal liability and civil responsibilities if any arising from the infraction, except in cases of insolvency declared by the sentencing Judge or Court, unless the offender has come to better fortune.
Cancellation can be requested provided that the following deadlines have elapsed since the sentence was fulfilled
1) | 6 Months for light sentences | |
2) | 2 years for sentences that do not exceed 12 months and those imposed for reckless crimes | |
c) | 3 years for the remaining less serious penalties. | |
d) | 5 years for serious penalties. |
In the case of RESIDENCE for those crimes that were tried under the old Penal Code of 1973, and that have not been reviewed in accordance with the current Penal Code, the deadlines indicated above will increase by 50% in case of recidivism.
For those crimes that have been tried under the current Penal Code, the periods indicated above will be interrupted at the moment in which the interested party commits another crime, in such a way that a new period will be opened from the completion of the sentence for the last crime.
TELELICENCIA
will be in charge of requesting said certificate in the Central Registry of Penados and Rebels.
For this procedure, Tele License has a home service (Madrid only) that consists of collecting weapons and belonging guides, disabling
of the weapon in the armory and subsequent presentation to the Intervention of Weapons and Explosives where the subsequent Certificate of Disabling will be requested.
