APPROVAL RULES

The measurement and homologation of trophies constitute a means that allows giving some documentary satisfaction to the result of hunting and selective actions focused on the capture of the largest, oldest, and therefore difficult to obtain, specimens.

In this way, with the consignment of the trophy in a specific book or catalog, a well-deserved tribute is paid to the animal itself that has been killed and, at the same time, to the hunter who, with his effort and tenacity, has managed to capture a large and difficult trophy.

APPROVAL OF TROPHIES. General Rules.

They will not be officially approved:

The abnormal trophies

Trophies in which any part subject to mediation has been artificially modified.

Trophies in which their origin cannot be attested.

The trophies of cervids and the skulls of butchers once naturalized

Unless otherwise indicated, measurements will be taken with a metal measuring tape.

Measurements in centimeters will be taken in millimeters, rounded as follows:

or 0.1 mm. to 0.4 mm. = 0mm.

or 0.5 mm. to 0.9 mm. = 1mm.

When assessing beauty and penalties, only points or half points will be used.

The broken parts will be measured up to the location of the fracture: they are not considered a factor of irregularity or a reason for penalties.
